Important questions

Most people wonder how to know which questions are important, it’s just common sense, look all the previous year and sample papers of soldier tradesman, spot questions that are repeating most often, and note them down. Try to learn everything about that topic from which questions are coming frequently.

Forms of questions

Once you know the important questions, then try to predict the different forms in which the questions can be asked. One question can come in multiple ways, that is why it is very important to be prepared. And don’t try to memorize questions, it will just jam your mind if the question is twisted even a little.

Mock tests are very important in order to determine the current state of your preparations. Mock tests are just the ordinary sample papers, all you have to do is just set a timer of 1 hr, and try to solve the papers within the time limit. Tips To Prepare For Written Exam

Before going to the tips, you should know the soldier tradesman syllabus and paper format. Below is the basic idea of how the exam will be:

The CEE of a tradesman is divided into 3 subjects: general knowledge, general science, and maths. There is a total of 50 questions in the exam, and each question is 2 marks making it a total of 100 marks.

20 questions will come from general knowledge, 15 questions from general science, and 15 questions from maths. And remember, there will be negative marking. 0.5 or ½ marks will be reduced for every wrong answer. So, it’s better to leave a question if you are not sure about the answer, instead of making wild guesses.

Except for the GK part, the questions will be based on the CBSE syllabus. So, try to cover the CBSE syllabus for better results. To get the complete syllabus of soldier tradesman, visit the link given above.

Follow the under given tips for better preparation :

Do it daily

Regularity is the most basic need for progress. Studies from all over the world have proved that people who do things on a regular basis are way more successful in achieving their goals as compared to those who hustle at the end. The ‘one night fight’ theory only works in normal exams of primary classes.

When you are up to the competitive exam, the last-minute study is equal to nothing. Even if you give 12 hours daily at the end, it will do no good to you. So, be consistent, I am not asking you to give a large amount of time, just 1 or 2 hours will do, but it has to be done regularly.

Tomorrow never comes

If you are planning to start your studies from tomorrow, then you are doomed because tomorrow never comes. If you want to do something, then you have to do it right now. Live with the rule “now or never”, I guarantee if you live by this rule, then you will surely succeed in every field of life.

From now on, never put things on tomorrow and start from today, in fact, from right now.

Go for NCERT books first

Since the questions will be based on CBSE, therefore, it will be better if you prepare from NCERT books. For those candidates who have done their schooling from CBSE, it will be much easier and beneficial to study from NCERT books. Even if you haven’t studied at CBSE or have never read NCERT books before, it won’t be hard as NCERT books are easy to study.

At least you should consider NCERT books to get the idea of the syllabus, once you will have the basic idea of the syllabus and the type of questions, then you can skip to other specific books.

Maintain Speed

Be sure to test yourself from time to time, you will need to complete 50 questions within the time period of 1 hour. I know MCQ may sound easy to answer within 1 hour for those who are going to play the ‘guess what’ game, but when you really start solving the question paper, then you will realize the true value of time. 60 minutes will pass with a blink of an eye, so you need to make sure that your speed is good enough to complete the paper on time.

More sources of learning

Books are not the only way to learn, look around, you will find lots of other sources. Internet, for example, is a great source of learning, nowadays, people are getting graduation degrees just by doing online courses. And you are just using it for social networks. Look for an explanation of topics online, you will get lots of websites offering much interactive explanation.

Newspapers can serve as a great source of knowledge (especially for the GK part). If you don’t get regular newspapers, then you should. It keeps you updated with all the current affairs plus increases your general knowledge, also reading the newspaper will make you smarter than you currently are.

Bring these tips to your day to day life, and you will see the benefits within 1 month. Hope this article was helpful to you. Feel free to comment if you have something to ask about soldier tradesman.
